Bring your designs to life with professional-quality Custom DTF Transfers from Print Depot. DTF transfers are designed for applying full-color artwork, logos, text, and graphics to apparel using a heat press. They're a great choice for T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tote bags, and other compatible fabric products.

Whether you're creating one custom piece, producing merchandise, or fulfilling larger apparel orders, our DTF transfers make it easy to apply vibrant designs without complicated setup.

Application Instructions

  1. Pre-press the garment for a few seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  2. Position the DTF transfer in the desired location.
  3. Heat press at 315°F for 12–15 seconds using medium pressure.
  4. Allow the transfer to cool before peeling the film.
  5. Peel the carrier film carefully.
  6. Press the design again for 5–10 seconds for a smooth, durable finish.

Application results can vary depending on the garment material, heat press, and pressure settings. A professional heat press is recommended for the most consistent results.
Artwork guidelines

For the best DTF print quality, upload clean, high-resolution artwork that is ready to print.

  • Transparent-background PNG files are strongly recommended for most DTF designs.
  • Vector formats such as SVG, AI, EPS, or print-ready PDF may also be accepted when appropriate.
  • Remove any unwanted backgrounds before uploading.
  • Make sure small text and fine details are clear and readable.
  • Avoid submitting blurry, pixelated, or low-resolution artwork.
  • Artwork should be prepared at the intended print proportions.
  • Colors may appear slightly different between a digital screen and the finished printed transfer.
  • Carefully review spelling, names, dates, phone numbers, logos, and all other design content before submitting your order.

Print Depot reviews submitted artwork for basic print readiness before production. However, customers are responsible for reviewing their artwork for spelling, dimensions, colors, placement, design content, and other details before submitting an order.
Shipping & returns

Turnaround

Custom DTF Transfers are available for same-day production on eligible orders once payment and print-ready artwork have been successfully received.

Same-day availability may depend on:

  • Order quantity
  • Artwork readiness
  • Time the order is submitted
  • Current production volume

Large orders or artwork requiring correction may require additional production time.

For local pickup, customers should wait until they receive confirmation that their order is ready before arriving.

For shipped orders, shipping transit time is separate from production time. Carrier delivery times depend on the shipping method, destination, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside Print Depot's control.

Tracking information will be provided when available.

Returns

Because DTF Transfers are custom-produced using customer-submitted artwork, all DTF Transfer sales are final once production has begun.

Returns, exchanges, or refunds are not provided because:

  • The customer changed their mind
  • Incorrect artwork was submitted
  • The wrong design or size was ordered
  • The artwork contained spelling or design errors
  • The customer applied the transfer incorrectly
  • The transfer was damaged because of incorrect temperature, pressure, pressing time, peeling, or application technique

However, Print Depot stands behind the quality of its production.

If an order is defective, misprinted, damaged before receipt, or substantially different from what was ordered because of an error made by Print Depot, contact us promptly with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos showing the problem.

Print Depot will review the issue and, when appropriate, provide a reprint, replacement, store credit, refund, or another reasonable resolution.
