A narrow, two-sided printed piece that tends to be kept and reused rather than discarded — quiet, long-lived advertising.

Popular with libraries, schools and reading programs, bookstores and authors, and as a promotional handout or small gift with purchase. Also used for reference information, reading lists, event calendars and membership details.
Artwork guidelines
  • Submit print-ready PDF where possible. High-resolution PNG and JPG files are also accepted.
  • Set up artwork at the correct finished bookmark size, and include bleed where the template calls for it.
  • Keep text and logos inside the safe margin so nothing important is lost at the trim. The narrow width leaves little room for error, so keep type well inside the edges.
  • If the bookmark will be hole-punched or tasseled, leave that area free of text and logos.
  • Use high-resolution graphics — images pulled from a website or social media rarely hold up in print.
  • Proofread everything before uploading, including phone numbers, addresses, dates and QR codes.

Print Depot reviews submitted artwork for basic print readiness before production. Responsibility for spelling, dimensions, colors, placement, and design content remains with the customer.
Shipping & returns

Turnaround. Orders are typically ready to ship or pick up the next business day after your order and print-ready artwork have been received. Production begins once both are in hand.

Large quantities, oversized projects, specialty configurations, or files that need corrections may require additional production time. We will let you know if that applies to your order.

Shipping and pickup. Transit time is separate from production time and depends on the shipping method selected at checkout, so we are not able to guarantee an exact delivery date. Tracking is provided when available. Local pickup orders are held for you, and we will notify you as soon as they are ready.

Returns on custom print. Because every piece is produced specifically for your order, all custom printed products are final sale once production has begun. We are not able to accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for a change of mind, an incorrect size, quantity, or option selected at checkout, or artwork submitted with errors — including spelling, dates, phone numbers, addresses, QR codes, or design content.

That said, we stand behind our work. If your order arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or substantially different from what was approved because of an error on our end, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will review it and make it right with a reprint, replacement, store credit, or another suitable resolution.
